Charlotte Gainsbourg: Les OxalisDirected by Charlotte Gainsbourg

The music video, directed by Charlotte herself, starts in a dark athmophere with black and white footage. First a succession of black and white photographs of the Montparnasse cemetery where her father lies.
Then, a photography where Charlotte Gainsbourg appears with a cigarette in her mouth. This portrait comes from of the film of Kate Barry, her sister lost in 2013 to whom she dedicates the song "Rest" as well as the title of her album.
The black and white atmosphere slowly turns into an appeasing dune regaining its colours and peacefulness. Through the whole dune setting we follow Charlotte Gainsbourg into a desperate walk before ending the music video with a fall.
